Join us in honoring our veterans by volunteering to read their names during the upcoming event at Marietta National Cemetery. Your participation helps ensure that the names of over 17,000 veterans are honored and remembered by publicy saying their names. No matter your background, your voice can make a difference in preserving their legacy.
Cobb Thanks You For Your Service is a 501(c)3 dedicated to honoring and helping our armed forces veteran neighbors and their families in Cobb County.
We need Volunteer Readers, both veterans and non-veterans. Email us at info@cobbsalutes.com to sign up to read 500 names and branch of service for one hour. Volunteers will read the names of veterans past and present on 7 and 8 November before Veterans Day 11 November. To submit your veteran's name to be read and recognized, click on Donate above or below and follow the prompts.

To honor a veteran in your family or from your life, email their full name and branch of service to info@cobbsalutes.com. A donation is optional. For example, Dwight D. Eisenhower, US Army. The airplane to the left is a Douglas TBD Devastor, the type flown by Torpedo Squadron 8 from the USS Hornet in WWII. All fifteen planes were lost with only one survivor, Ensign George Gay who lived on Maple Avenue here in Marietta, GA. The suggested donation of $22.00 signifies the 22 veterans who take their own life every day. We hope that by honoring their names, we can inspire those in distress to seek help.
"Say Their Names 2025!" is an event and fundraiser sponsored by Cobb Salutes.org. Our donations go to organizations that support veterans' services. In the past, we have supported the Veterans Oral History Project at the Atlanta History Center, and the Cobb Veterans Memoral Foundation. Cobbsalutes.org is 100% volunteer staffed.
